Tierra Vegetables located in Santa Rosa, CA sells only what they grow....lots and lots of sustainably produced vegetables, 30 varieties of dried beans and several varieties of corn for cornmeal and polenta, fresh chiles, chile products, hot sauces, jams and much more. Besides selling at the farm stand, they also sell their produce through their CSA Program, and the San Francisco Ferry Plaza Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings.
Veggielution Community Garden - a nonprofit community farm that empowers youth and adults from diverse backgrounds to create a sustainable food system in San Jose. Our urban farm engages the community by providing access to healthy and local food, creating youth leadership opportunities, and developing creative solutions to social and environmental justice issues. Our volunteer workdays, youth programs, sliding scale farm stand, and community workshops give people a chance to get their hands dirty growing veggies, and learn the importance of eating healthy food and knowing where it came from.
